Muesli Biscuits

I like to bake with my children who are 8 years and 5 years old. This biscuit recipe was very popular last time we tried it.

Ingredients

300 grams muesli

120 grams self raising flour

100 grams light brown sugar

100 grams melted butter

3 tablespoons honey

1 egg, beaten

Method

Pre heat the oven to 180° C and grease a baking tray for the biscuits.

Mix the muesli, flour and sugar in a bowl, make a well in the middle. Now add the honey, egg and butter and stir well.

Use a dessert spoon to drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes than transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

As a special treat, sometimes we dip this biscuits into melted chocolate. We’d love to know what you think if you give this recipe a try.
